This offering from Wilcox is their offering to save weight by 12% while not sacrificing durability or performance. It has the same travel distance while having a slimmer profile on the sides, allowing panning systems to stow closer to the head when not in use. Utilizing the lighter weight carriage of the G69 mount and doing away with the magnets in the G24 (magnets are not a required feature, they are part of a legacy on/off system, Wilcox has since discontinued this)
