These units offer reliable performance at a budget friendly price point, the RNV-31 night vision device boasts some of the best gen2 performance I've seen price wise, now with improved optics. While certainly not able to match the performance of gen 3 in low light conditions, it holds its own in urban areas. These units are a good choice for folks looking for a recreational set of night vision at a low price point, I don't condone these as duty rated but It will work just fine for flat range days, gentle hikes and stargazing. For duty and 2A, I recommend any other unit I sell to get the best performance and durability.
